The F-27 is a unique combination of easily handled cruiser for your family, exciting performance for the racer, and take it anywhere trailerability. It is light for easy handling yet large enough for serious offshore racing.
You'll love the wide spacious decks and near level sailing- perfect for safe family cruising, while the shallow draft means any beach is just an excuse to pull in and play. Comfortable cruising style accommodation, responsive handling, and effortless speed, make the F-27 always a pleasure to be on.
The efficient fracti0onal rig has all control lines lead aft for convenient operation from the cockpit. A roller furling boom, plus jiffy reefing, is standard equipment for easily sail handling.
The deep retractable daggerboard gives excellent windward capability, equal or superior to many 40-foot monohulls. Downwind or reaching, you can mix it with 65 footers!
An Australian pedigree with over 500,000 safe sailing miles guarantees sea worthiness. Totally unsinkable, innovative design and the most advanced construction technology have produced a boat that can safely cruise anywhere.
With no need for a heavy keel, the F-27 is light and has excellent trailering characteristics. The low towing weight will allow you to discover and explore many out of reach cruising grounds. Trailering also offers a significant saving in dock fees and maintenance.
Rigging and launching can all be done single handed in less than 30 minutes. Everything is designed to get you on the water faster. It is so easy! When launching, the shallow 14" draft avoids having to completely sink the trailer.
Once afloat, stability is excellent, and single handed unfolding takes just a minute, even under motor.
The F-27 is a moving statement for technological innovation. PVC foam core construction, double bias glass fabric, Kevlar, S-glass, carbon fiber and multistrata vacupressure technique means the F-27 competes with the fastest boats around for more than just the wind.
