Layout & Accommodations

With only 28 feet to work with the interior layout of the Hunter 28 uses the space at hand extremely well. A very open feel due to no major bulkhead breaking up the floor space and the 6' 2" headroom, the "U" shaped settee optimizes seating and adds to berthage. The double drop leaf fixed table opens up the interior space with the table collapsed, but when opened up easily seats 4 to 6 adults for dinner. The "V"berth is big enough for  2 reasonalbe size adults, but we suspect you'd enjoy the larger double berth aft even more and let your guest or the youngsters enjoy the "V"berth. Cushions are handsome and in good repair and the teak and holley cabin sole adds to the sense of decent quality and a space that is comfortable to spend time in. Again, the double berth aft is likely the prefered rational place for most couples. The head/shower complete with privacy teak door is to the Starboard aft of the interior and is amazing in its size for a 28' sailboat. The Port aft contains the galley area complete with a deep icebox, storage and stainless steel sink. Overall the interior has a light, airy, and open feel. Really nice.
