The 540 Sundancer (called the 54 Sundancer since 2012) is an executive-class luxury yacht that took Sea Ray styling and performance benchmarks to the next level when she was introduced in 2010. Notably, she was among the first Sundancer models to offer optional Zeus pod-drive propulsion-an engineering game-changer whose impact in the boating industry has been dramatic. Her palatial two-stateroom interior (a three-stateroom configuration is optional) includes a full beam amidships master suite, large salon with sofa and hide-away bed, two full heads, and full service galley with Corian counters and under-counter refrigeration. The helm is on the centerline (almost), and both helm seats swivel 180 degrees to face the cockpit. Additional features (among many) include a sleek fiberglass hardtop with retractable sunroof, extended swim platform, washer/dryer, and a spacious, air conditioned cockpit with circular lounge seating. Note that the 540's distinctive hull-side windows were restyled and enlarged in 2013.
Our 540 Sundancer takes signature sleekness and purposeful design with standard V-drive propulsion. A centerline helm enhances visibility and pivots to face the starboard lounge at rest, while in the cockpit a transom "sun gate" opens to extend the sun pad. Inside, the redesigned sofa and new hinged table improves comfort, as does the new deluxe décor.
