The Cape Dory 36 is a beautifully built and very well-respected design, rarely available on the West coast. This example was delivered from the factory with an updgraded interior built specially for the boat shows. With new North 3Di sails, new dodger and bimini, and recent electronics upgrades, ATHENA represents a real value for a high-quality cruising boat. Hydrovane self-steering system not included in listing, but may be available for purchase separately.

The Cape Dory 36 features a long, comfortable cockpit with pedestal steering, helm mounted touch-screen multi-function plotter display, and a fold up table for outdoor dining.
Stepping below, the U-shaped galley is on the port side. There is excellent storage, a 3-burner stove with oven, built-in refrigerator/freezer and deep double sinks. Across the companionway on the starboard side there is a navigation desk and a good-sized quarter-berth.
The main cabin has a beautiful teak drop-down table on the port side which folds up against the bulkhead for more space when not in use. The settees on port and starboard also make excellent sea berths. Bronze opening ports and overhead hatches provide wonderful light and ventilation.
The head is just forward of the main cabin with manual head, sink, and hand-held shower. There are hanging lockers and drawers across from the head.
All the way forward is a comfortable walk-in V-berth stateroom with additional hanging locker and storage for clothes and gear.
