Very motivated seller.
I helped the current owners buy this boat in summer of 2020 from the original owners who had owned the boat for 33 years, since new, having bought it back in 1987.
Now in 2026, nearly 6 years later, the owners are moving on with new life plans and have asked me to help sell their boat.
Honeymoon is a great example of one of the finest blue-water vessels in its class.
With a full keel and skeg-hung rudder, a deck-stepped mast, and oversized rigging, this modest cutter is equipped for whatever mother nature can throw at it.
Powered by a 30hp Yanmar diesel, this boat has a 80 gallon fuel tank that will allow you to motor for hundreds of miles.
There is no engine-hour gauge onboard, but original owner states engine was used less than 50 hours per year, making it roughly 1500 hours after 40 years. This is as good an estimate as we can give.
Boat ext was just fully detailed with a buff and wax and wood treatment.
Engine was recently serviced with oil changes and new raw water impeller.
For the last 5 years, the boat has been primarily used as an overnight crash pad for its owner, who is a flight attendant.
The last time the boat was hauled and bottom painted was in Jan of 2020.
Boat is currently in a 36' slip, and the monthly slip fee is approx $800.
Slip is available to new owners, pending marina approval.
Recent in-water marine survey, done in Nov. 2025, valued the boat at $80,000 (available upon request).
