Welcome aboard 1989 Hunter Vision 32, hull number 51. An excellent introductory yacht or live aboard. Current owner purchased vessel in 2023 in Charleston, SC and navigated to the boat's current homeport near Oriental, NC. After giving sailing a try for few years while living 10 hours away from the boat, and having the local marina provide impeccable service/maintenance--the owner is moving on to trawler ownership. Ready and motivated to sell. Make an offer.
Winged fin keel, roller furling Genoa, mainsail halyard and (all) sail controls led aft, spacious cockpit, solid deck, Yanmar 3GM 27HP diesel engine, Bimini/dodger, wheel steering, and more makes for ease of handling and comfort. In local and coastal cruising or amateur sailboat racing. This is an unstayed mast design with a large mainsail that acts as the center of effort/gravity, and a max hull speed of nearly 7-knots. It is an easy boat to sail, quick and stable, but must be respected and reefed often/early especially if single handing.
