True North is a stand-out Taiwanese Trawler!
Single Ford Lehman 120 HP, rebuilt in 2020.
Complete overhaul of all major systems from 2020 to present. This boat is in a category of her own when compared to other Taiwanese-built trawlers of its age for several reasons:
1. No teak decks. That means no leaks and no soft spots.
2. No fuel tank issues. Since no leaky-teak, no rust on tanks. Tanks recently received preventative maintenance including: fuel polish, fresh paint (inside and outside tanks) and added inspection ports.
3. Massive engine room relative to trawlers of her class. More space than many 40+ ft boats. Single Ford Lehman in impeccable condition. Rebuilt at 1100 hrs, currently at 1490 hrs. No excessive wiring/hoses/etc cluttering machinery spaces. Freshly painted bilges!
4. Pride of ownership. The current owner has spent 6 years maintaining and upgrading every functional part of this boat. If it is aboard, it is working. Varnish, paint touch up, cabin sole, bilge paint all recoated mid-April 2026.
She is an excellent vessel, in turn-key condition. The current owner has a large amount of spare parts/additional equipment that may be included in the sale if desired, including: engine spares, a portable gas generator, microwave, etc. Also aboard for review is a binder of all maintenance and repairs effected in the past 6 years of ownership including engine rebuild, updated sanitation system, cosmetic records, deck equipment upgrades and more.
Enjoy her dockside as a cozy waterfront retreat or grab a mooring at Catalina this summer! She is ready to meet your needs now--whatever they may be!
